The University of Maine Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that pursues philanthropic support for the University of Maine and the University of Maine at Machias. Established in 1934, the Foundation exists to encourage gifts and bequests to promote academic and athletic achievement, foster research, and elevate intellectual pursuits.
